Every stage of childhood is worth capturing in picture, a little slice of time to keep still forever.  The seeminly mundane moments, the silly expressions, the favorite friends – these are how I truly want to remember my children.

My youngest is finally reaching the age where he is starting to develop friendships.  It’s such a joy to watch him as he learns to share and play, getting more and more excited each time he hears that he’s going to see a friend.  It truly warms my heart.

Today his special friend came to play (my little man is the one on the left).

 

Of course, when you have two little boys it doesn’t take long for a buddy hug to turn into a wrestling match.  As wrestling matches tend to go, it ended in the two comrades falling to the ground, surrounded by shrieks of hysterical laughter…

…only to be followed by an equally gleeful, “Let’s do that again!”  I love these moments.

Meet adorable and petite little Amber.  She and Kyle are expecting their first wee one in just a few short months.  At just six months along, Amber has the teeniest little pooch – and wears it quite gracefully!  I look forward to seeing you again in a few more months, Amber, to once again capture how beautiful you make pregnancy look!

 It’s a sweet, tiny bump, but it’s definitely there!

Isn’t she gorgeous?  The camera LOVES red hair!  Well, maybe it’s me, but I’m still blaming it on the camera.
