Baby Summit-6 Days Sweet {Spring Hill Brooksville FL Newborn Photographer}
Posted on October 12, 2011
When my friend Amanda had called me up last spring and asked her to do some pictures to announce to her family that she was pregnant, I was thrilled to do so (you can check out those pictures here). So it goes without saying that once little Summit made his arrival I was just as thrilled to take the trip back to the other side of the state to capture his brand-new cuteness.
From his teeny tiny nose to his itty bitty toes, every inch of Summit is precious.

Thanks to the gorgeous Florida weather, we were able to do the entire session outside (actually – in the same spot that we did the family pictures earlier this year to announce his upcoming birth!) Not only did I get to do Summit’s session outdoors, but I also got to raid Amanda’s house for props. I swiped this crate from the front porch. We found it highly amusing that it says, “Florida Dairy” on it. I’m pretty sure from the grin on his face that Summit found it just as amusing as we did.
I have had this adorable little wooden wagon in my own prop stash for nearly a year now. Love it! Not as much as I love that sweet little smile, though.
The pram is another one of Amanda’s awesome finds. They were able to use it in their daughter’s newborn pictures so it was extra special to get to use it with another one of their babies!

Love me an outdoor baby!

Matt, Amanda and family – thank you so much for inviting me out and putting me up for the night! Not many people would keep their photographer over night AND feed them
Love you guys and I’m so glad I was able to come see the family and meet the new little man!
Ross & Abbie {Spring Hill Brooksville FL Engagement and Couples Photographer}
Posted on October 10, 2011
Since moving Christina Ann Photography in the direction of maternity through first-year photography, I haven’t had as many opportunities this year to do couples photography. So when my sweet friend Amanda invited me to the other side of the state to do a session for her brother and sister-in-law I was thrilled to switch gears for a couple of hours. Ross and Abbie just recently celebrated their first anniversary, and it’s so obvious how much they love each other. After all, Ross DID agree to pictures – now THAT’S love!
Not only did I get the chance to shoot something different, but I also got to get away from my “usual” locations. I love new spots! It was a “new” spot for Ross and Abbie too. They’re from Missouri!
There was this gorgeous old home on site that was being renovated. It was a beautiful spot! Almost as beautiful as Ross and Abbie!

While I normally avoid direct sunlight like the plague on sessions, we were waiting to get some sunset shots. It totally worked for us, on this case, and the hazy light just made the look all the more romantic.

Nothing beats the romance of a kiss in the sunset!

Thank you, Ross and Abbie, for a fun evening of shooting. You’re such a sweet and fun couple – I look forward to the day when our paths might once again cross!
