In the past year I’ve gotten lots of opportunities to photograph Sherry and her kiddos, and now I was able to have the pleasure of extending the family photography to her mother and sisters as well.  This session was a gift from all of the girls to their mom for her birthday.  Great memories are the best kind of gifts to give!

Since the family just grew with baby Tierney’s birth, it was time for a new picture of Granny and Papa with all of their (seriously) beautiful grand-babies.

Mom and all her girls….or is it the four sisters?  They all share those gorgeous eyes!

And the gorgeous eyes got passed on down to the grand-babies too.

And, of course, I’m a HUGE proponent of continuing to get photographs throughout a relationship.  Don’t let the couples photos stop with the wedding!

A big thank you to Sherry, Brandy and Brittany for including me in such a wonderful birthday gift!  Hope these images can be treasured by all of you for years to come.

Three 3 and Under

Posted on June 18, 2010

It is always such a pleasure to get to photograph the same family in multiple facets.  With each shoot you find a new aspect of their family and personality to capture!  You may remember Melissa from her maternity pictures and their youngest from his newborn shoot earlier this year.  This time around we got to get the entire family in on the picture taking, and then we spent some quality time getting some pictures of just Dad and Mom.
***A HUGE thank you to Grace of Communicate Creatively for the awesome new logo!***
When you have three kids ages three and under, it’s nothing short of a miracle to get them all to be still long enough to get a shot!  I’m sure I had said something incredibly witty here to get every one’s attention.
Like I said…nearly impossible.  But if at first you don’t succeed, give the kids some cookies!  These little sweethearts were even nice enough to share some of their cookies with me.  Have you ever seen Disney’s Aladdin where the Sultan is constantly shoving crackers into the parrots mouth?  Yeah, it was kind of like that!
All three of Bernie and Melissa’s kiddos have the most gorgeous big blue eyes you have ever seen.
See what I mean?!  They get their gorgeous eyes from their gorgeous Mommy!
And, of course, no post is ever complete without a black and white.  In case you were wondering, yes, I encourage kissing at photo shoots.  Always.
